Welcome to the website of St.Mary's Malankara (Indian) Orthodox Church, Tampa bay, located in Wesley Chapel, FL. We have been serving Orthodox Christians and the larger community for close to 9 years, and hope to be active here for many years to come. We are a parish of the Diocese of South-West America of the Malankara (Indian) Orthodox Church, which was founded in 52 A.D. by St. Thomas the Apostle. The Holy Eucharist is celebrated every Sunday, beginning with Morning Prayers at 9:00 AM.

What exactly is "Orthodox Christianity?"

Orthodox Christianity is the Ancient Christian faith. It is Christianity in it's original, pre-medieval form, without doctrinal change or adulteration. 


In the last 100 years over 60 million Christians died as martyrs to their faith in Christ. Over 99% of them were Orthodox. Ever wonder what Christianity is really supposed to be like? What it was like in the early Church? What it's supposed to be like now?
